Annie (Christensen) Machnik

Annie (Christensen) Machnik, beloved wife of Tom, passed away unexpectedly on August 30, 2024 while at their weekend cabin-their favorite place on the river.  She will be greatly missed by her husband, family, many, many friends, and, of course, her much loved pets. 

Annie was born on February 22, 1961.  Tom and Annie were united in marriage on July 19, 2014 at Fireside Lake.  Annie lived a life filled with exuberance and enthusiasm for all she did.  Whether it be boating, four wheeling, fishing, caring for her adored pets, cooking, sharing good times with friends and family or enjoying traveling with Tom, all filled her with joy.  She shared her optimism, humor, honesty, compassion, and open-hearted love with everyone. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, Arthur and Patty Christensen, her aunt, Janet Revare, and dear friend Dale Turner. 

Annie is survived by her husband, Tom Machnik, stepson Justin Machnik, her children, Michael Johnson and Angel Hall, her brother David Christensen and his wife Kelly, and many wonderful in-laws, nieces and nephews. 

Annie was a loving and caring wife, mother, sister, and friend.  Our many memories of her will keep her alive in our hearts.  We will all Always miss and love you – until we meet again. 

Per Annie’s wishes, a private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  In the meantime, please share your memories and photos of Annie with all of us who loved her by posting them at www.bratley-nelsonchapels.com.
