Anna M. Hunt

Anna M. Hunt, age 71, of Hayward, WI passed away on Tuesday, September 17, 2019 at the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital.

Anna Marie Hunt was born August 20, 1948 in Edgerton, WI the daughter of Harold and Florence (Gunderson) Hunt.  She was raised in Edgerton and graduated from high school there in 1966.  Anna began work with the Edgerton Hospital as a Certified Nursing Assistant.  In her free time, she was a member of the County Cousins Band with several of her family members.  After 18 years at Edgerton Hospital Anna moved to Hayward, WI to be closer to her parents.  She began work with the Hayward Area Memorial Hospital where she became a Heath Unit Coordinator.  Anna continued sharing her musical gifts by playing in the Good Medicine Band in Hayward.  Anna retired from her position at the hospital in Hayward after 25 years of service.  Throughout Anna’s life she had a great love of music and enjoyed singing and playing numerous instruments including the organ, clarinet, guitar and ukulele.   

Anna is survived by  her brother, Richard (Gloria) Hunt of Ft. Atkinson, WI; one nephew, Jamie Hunt; one great niece Jaelyn Hunt.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service celebrating Anna’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 21, at the Hayward Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Young officiating.  An interment will be held at the Jenson Cemetery in Edgerton, WI at a later date.
