Teresa Melton

Teresa Marie Melton, 59, of Spooner, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, June 14th  2019,  after a long struggle with COPD.  Teresa was born in Spooner and attended school in Shell Lake.  She worked in the service industry.  Her smiling face was familiar throughout her career at several locations in the Spooner/Trego area including; The Pair O’ Lakes Lodge, Whiskey Creek, Auto Stop Gas Station, and most recently at Ace Hardware.  Her vibrant personality, and passionate, loving heart will be greatly missed.
Teresa is survived by: her daughter, Jessica Melton (Mike Winter), her step-daughter, Catherine (Erich) Lieberknecht, her grandson, Christopher Melton, her granddaughters, Kayla Wall, and Greta Lieberknecht, her father, Frank Melton, her brothers, Frank (Kathy) Melton, and Joseph Melton (Daniel Clements), her sisters, Tammy (Andy) Lehmann, and Mary (Peter) Baumgart, her nephews; Charlie (Jessie) Trudelle, Shayne Trudelle, Drew Lehmann, Ryan (Gabby) Lehmann, Eli Baumgart, Adrian Melton, and Kaleb (Sam) Melton, her nieces; Angie Trudelle, Nichole Lehmann, Elizabeth (Ben) Gieseke, Jessica Clements, Kristan Lange, and Karleigh Melton, her great-nephews and nieces; Aidan, Troy, Tayden, Carter, Kinsey, Kyra, Zoey, and Kayla, her brother-in-law, Ton Trudelle, and her sister-in-law, Karen Melton.
She was preceded in death by; her grandparents, Robert and Laurel Melton, and Vern and Vivian Taylor, her mother, Verneal Melton, her sister, Deborah Trudelle, and her brother, Michael Melton.
A Memorial Celebration of Her Life will be held at the residence of her daughter, Jessica Melton, N4871 Greenfield Rd.  Spooner WI, 54801, on June 29th, Visitation at 2:00p.m., Memoriam to follow at 3:00, with a reception after.  The venue will be sheltered in case of weather.  All are welcome to come and celebrate with the family.  Cards and flowers can also be sent to the above address.
