Raymond E. DeMoure

On July 15th, 2019, Raymond Edward DeMoure Jr., of Hawthorne, WI, passed away.

Raymond was born in Philadelphia, PA the son of Raymond and Theresa DeMoure Sr.  He met his wife Jacqueline DeMoure in Rhode Island and they married April 16, 1982.   Raymond worked as a painter for DeMoure and Sons Painting in Hawthorne, WI.  While painting he and his wife also operated Dee’s General Store in Hawthorne form 1985 until 1997.  Raymond served on the Hawthorne Fire Department for several years.  He enjoyed gardening and caring for house plants.  He loved fishing, hunting, and spending time with his two girls.  He also enjoyed going camping with his friends and family. 

Raymond is survived by his wife of 37 years, Jacqueline; two daughters, Samantha and Amanda DeMoure; one brother, Michael DeMoure; three sisters, Patricia DeMoure, Ellen DeMoure and Kathy (Robert) Sullivan; many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; and special friends and cousins, John and Joyce O’Brien of Pennsylvania.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one nephew, Keith DeMoure.

A private service celebrating Ray’s life will be held at a later date.
