Craig Martin, age 53, a resident of Rusk Township, died at his home on Monday, March 04, 2019 with his wife at his side.
Craig Martin was born on April 23, 1965, in Eau Claire, Wisconsin to parents Clinton and Laura (Kincade) Martin. He attended Elk Mound Elementary School through the 6th grade in 1977, at which time the family moved to Spooner where he attended the Spooner High School. After High School, Craig worked in Minnesota for Yellow Freight Company until moving to Rice Lake where he worked at BFI for a few years, before moving back to Spooner where he would spend the rest of his working years at Yellow River Supply which is now Cemstone. On August 21, 2003, he was united in marriage to Stacy Christner in Las Vegas, Nevada. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and snowmobiling. He would help anyone he could, was a jack of all trades- building he and Stacy’s home, but most of all cherishing his grandchildren that meant everything to him.
Craig is survived by his wife Stacy, children: Amanda Martin of Trego, WI, Jessica (Jacob) Fox of Chetek, WI, Jody (Denny) Moyer of Little Falls, MN, Marissa (Bryant) Gengler of Blooming Prairie, MN, grandchildren: Caiden, Danica, Hailey, Carson, and Brandon, and mother Laura Martin of Spooner.
Craig is preceded in death by his grandparents, father, and 2 brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, March 16, 2018 at the Spooner Funeral Home in Spooner, Wisconsin. Visitation will be from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
