Andrea L. Krygoski, age 63, of Clam Lake, WI passed away on Monday, February 25, 2019 at her home.
Andrea Lee was born February 23, 1956 in Hobart, IN the daughter of Richard and Pauline (Pecksenak) Hermann. She was raised in Hobart and graduated from high school there in 1972. Shortly after her graduation she married her high school sweetheart, James Krygoski, on August 6, 1972 in Hobart. Andrea and Jim began a family in Hobart and Andrea worked as a waitress. In 1984, Andrea and Jim decided to move north to Clam Lake, WI. Andrea began work in Cable, WI with Metro’s Ski Inn where she was a cook and Telemark Resort where she worked the front desk. Andrea became an Emergency Medical Technician for Sawyer County and a First Responder for the Spider Lake Fire Department. She also volunteered for Regional Hospice for several years and was a foster parent to 17 children. For over twenty years Andrea wrote the Clam Lake News in the Glidden Enterprise for Hart Publishing Company in Glidden, WI. She was a very loving and caring person who tried to make friends with everyone she met. Even when facing some health issues she never got down and always had a positive attitude. She enjoyed doing various kinds of crafts over the years.
Andrea is survived by her husband of 46 years, Jim; one daughter, Tawnya (Brian) Hulstrom of Hoppkinsville, Kentucky; one son, Michael Krygoski of Arcata, CA; ten grandchildren; step-father, Donald Castro of Clam Lake, WI; two sisters, Paula (Fred) Neier of Greesburg, KS, Shana (Rick) Pullins of Valparaiso, IN; one brother, Patrick (Cindy) Friese of Moorhead, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
