Barbara J. Klinger

Barbara Jean Klinger, age 76, a resident of Trego, Wisconsin passed away on April 8th, 2024.

Barbara was born on February 25th, 1948, in Mellen, Wisconsin to William and Martha Wiener.  She attended school in Mellen, Wisconsin, and then attended Ashland County Community College for teaching. She then taught elementary school in Dobie, Wisconsin.  She married the love of her life Bob Klinger on October 17th, 1997, and they spent 24 wonderful years together.

Barbara loved spending time with her family.  She was talented at everything she did.  She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.  She was an avid reader, and loved her grandchildren, as they brought her so much joy. 

She is survived by her daughter Gretchen (Cory) Gerovac, her son Tom (Monica) Gerovac, and her grandchildren Riley, Lauren, Halie, and Kelsie. 

She is preceded in death by her husband Bob Klinger Jr., her parents William and Martha Wiener, and her brothers, sisters, and granddaughter Alexia. 

A graveside service was held for Barbara on Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Northern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.  There she joins her husband Bob who was the love of her life.
